The Sustainable Scale Project
The Sustainable Scale Project is an NGO which provides educational resources to assist government decision makers, civil society organizations and students to understand the implications of the sustainable scale concept and how to integrate attractive solutions into relevant policy decisions.
Scale problems refer to the threats posed by economic activities to global life support systems such as the atmospheric ozone layer’s protection against ultraviolet radiation, and the carbon cycle’s provision of climate stability. Human economic activities are now threatening these natural systems at both the local and global levels, for the first time in the history of the planet. The Sustainable Scale Project strives to get these inadequately addressed issues onto governmental agendas at all levels.
