Licenses of 2010 National Footprint Account data now available.

Global Footprint Network is pleased to announce that licenses for 2010 National Footprint Accounts are now available. The licenses provide complete the underlying data and calculations for each country published in the National Accounts and are available in a number of editions, some fee-based and some free of charge.

Data presented through license include calculations by land-type, Footprint of production versus of consumption, and Footprint Intensity Tables that provides the data necessary for translating resource consumption into Ecological Footprint area.

  • Global Footprint Network Partners are entitled to a single-use Project Edition for the national accounts of one country of their choosing, with historical points of that country in 10-year intervals.
  • A free Academic Edition is available to anyone interested in learning more about the Ecological Footprint calculations and data sets. This edition includes complete, fully functioning calculation spreadsheets for the world and for one representative nation (Hungary).
  • There are also a number of editions available for anyone completing paid or commercial projects, and for more advanced research in which users wish to modify data sources and methods.
