The Planet2025 Network is a non-profit organization with a mission to mobilize new and additional sources of sustained financing for long term investment in the globe's life-supporting ecosystems through education, outreach, cooperation, and its lifestyle initiatives.
Partner Profile
Planet 2025 and Global Footprint Network worked together in 2007 and 2008 to produce an Ecological Debt Video Contest. In 2004 Planet 2025 collaborated with Global Footprint Network on the publication of “Eco-Insurance: Risk Management for the 21st Century” in which Ecological Footprint scenarios and associated financial incentives are proposed as a framework for managing humanity’s Footprint. Planet 2025 has created two initiatives which aim to publicize sustainability and Footprint discourse: Planet2025 News Network - an online sustainable lifestyle news service – and the Planet2025 Learning Conference.
