Footprint Forum 2006: Archive

Footprint Forum 2006 marked the first ever gathering of Global Footprint Network partners and the first international Ecological Footprint conference. The event, cohosted by the University of Siena, was held in and around Siena, Italy on June 14 through 17, 2006.

Footprint Forum 2006 began with two days of partner meetings in the beautiful town of Colle val d'Elsa, Italy, followed by a public event in the heart of Siena, and concluding with a full day Ecological Footprint training. The conference saw the launch of the first Ecological Footprint Standards, helped strengthen the Global Footprint Network partner community, and offered great learning opportunities for veteran Footprint practitioners and novices alike.

What follows are photos, notes, and presentations from the partner meetings and public conference. Please do not extract materials from the presentations without consulting with their authors first.

We hope you find these archives useful. Contact Brooking Gatewood if you would like any other archive materials from the event.
